(253 words) Dostoevsky wrote: "Beauty will save the world." I think that this expression has a romantic meaning: the world will be saved if we make it more perfect and harmonious. But this transformation must begin with oneself.
Beauty should be our principle of life. Beauty is not perception, not influence that is outside of us; it is a principle that should characterize what we all do. Because beauty is not only an external phenomenon, but also an internal one. This is spirituality, a developed mind, good breeding and education. It is difficult to disagree that if a person is beautiful in every sense, then the world around him and society he perceives differently. Everyone unwittingly reaches for him, and with his influence, his actions, he transforms everything around.
The problem of beauty is raised in many works. For example, in the epic novel by Leo Tolstoy “War and Peace” Natasha Rostova is a vivid example of what beauty can heal. The heroine is, first of all, spiritually beautiful, as can be seen from her sincerity, her desire to love and be loved. Her healing power brings Andrei Bolkonsky back to life, disappointed in everything after losing his wife and seriously injuring him. She helps Pierre Bezukhov find himself. Throughout the work, the girl supports and directs her family. It is she who gives the carts to the wounded soldiers, sacrificing property.
Another example is the situation in life. Top model Natalya Vodyanova in 2004 organized the Naked Hearts foundation for helping children. This beautiful and noble woman selflessly donates money to create children's rooms in hospitals and other social projects. Her beauty really saves the world.
We can conclude that the author is right: beauty will save the world. But this creative beauty begins with an act, a personal choice of each of us.
